Mathieu comes from Aussonne, near Toulouse. He went missing on August 2018 while traveling alone in northern Argentina.<\/h2><\/h3>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t

Mathieu, a passionate traveller, leaves Toulouse mid-September 2017<\/strong> for a tour around the world.<\/p>

He will make several stopovers before entering Argentina end of July 2018<\/strong>.<\/p>

August 8th, 2018<\/strong>, he contacts his family, specifies that he is located in the north part of Argentina, in Tilcara, a place he is about to leave in order to go further north towards Iruya, province of Salta, and the Argentine mountain ranges, before joining Paraguay and then Brazil to meet his family there early November.<\/p>

Days are going by and Mathieu does not give news. He has never spent more than 10 days without providing updates.<\/p>

His family and friends tried to contact him in vain.<\/p>

Mathieu went officially missing on August 28th, 2018<\/strong> after his parents informed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the French Embassy in Buenos Aires, the various Argentinian consulates and local authorities.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Octobre 2023,<\/em><\/strong> Corinne Herrmann au p\u00f4le Cold Case de Nanterre reprend le dossier de la disparition de Mathieu et sera d\u00e9sormais l\u2019avocate de la famille. De nouvelles portes s\u2019ouvrent\u2026<\/p>

Avril 2023, <\/em><\/strong>nouveau s\u00e9jour Paraguay \/ Argentine pour les parents de Mathieu au cours duquel ils rencontrent les autorit\u00e9s des 2 pays\u00a0: police et ambassade. La d\u00e9position faite par la personne ayant rencontr\u00e9 Mathieu en octobre 2018 est officiellement reconnue par le Paraguay qui ouvre une enqu\u00eate pour disparition.<\/p>

Confirmation qu\u2019aucun acte de d\u00e9c\u00e8s n\u2019a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9mis \u00e0 la suite du proc\u00e8s et que Mathieu est toujours consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme \u00ab\u00a0disparu\u00a0\u00bb par les services d\u2019Interpol.<\/p>

Rencontre avec les m\u00e9dias et participation \u00e0 plusieurs \u00e9missions de t\u00e9l\u00e9vision, ce qui permet de communiquer encore sur la disparition de Mathieu.<\/p>

Janvier 2023, <\/em><\/strong>participation \u00e0 l\u2019AG de l\u2019Association \u00ab\u00a0Unis pour Tiphaine V\u00e9ron\u00a0\u00bb, disparue au Japon quelques jours avant Mathieu. Rencontre avec sa famille et leur avocate, Corinne Hermann, \u00e0 l\u2019origine de la cr\u00e9ation du p\u00f4le judiciaire national des cold cases \u2013 affaires criminelles complexes et non r\u00e9solues – \u00e0 Nanterre.<\/p>

Novembre 2021<\/em><\/strong>,<\/em> Jacques SIRAT qui parcours le monde en v\u00e9lo (www.jacques-sirat.com)<\/a> a pu recueillir lors de sa travers\u00e9e de l\u2019Am\u00e9rique du Sud, des informations qui confirment la pr\u00e9sence de Mathieu au Paraguay \u00e0 cette p\u00e9riode.<\/p>

F\u00e9vrier 2021<\/em><\/strong>,<\/strong> \u00e0 la suite de l\u2019\u00e9mission \u00ab \u00e7a commence aujourd\u2019hui\u00a0\u00bb sur France 2, une personne ayant pris Mathieu en stop en\u00a0octobre 2018 au Paraguay s\u2019est manifest\u00e9e et a fait une d\u00e9position aupr\u00e8s de la gendarmerie fran\u00e7aise.<\/p>

Cet \u00e9l\u00e9ment vient contredire l\u2019hypoth\u00e8se d\u2019un assassinat en aout 2018.<\/p>

Novembre 2020<\/em> : L\u2019enqu\u00eate men\u00e9e sur place s\u2019oriente tr\u00e8s vite vers 2 fr\u00e8res, incarc\u00e9r\u00e9s fin 2018 et inculp\u00e9s pour \u00ab homicide volontaire \u00bb, malgr\u00e9 l\u2019absence concr\u00e8te de preuve et alors que Mathieu reste introuvable.<\/p>

Leur proc\u00e8s a lieu, \u00e0 l\u2019issue duquel un des deux fr\u00e8res est condamn\u00e9 pour meurtre \u00e0 13 ans de prison et l\u2019autre rel\u00e2ch\u00e9. La famille de Mathieu a d\u00e9nonc\u00e9 les nombreuses incoh\u00e9rences et le fait qu\u2019aucune preuve incontestable n\u2019accr\u00e9ditait la piste de l\u2019homicide, seule piste suivie par les enqu\u00eateurs.<\/p>

Octobre 2020<\/strong><\/em>, the first general assembly of the association was held. They presented the associative life during this first year. The Martin family is in contact with professional research teams to initiate private investigations on site.<\/p>

September 2020<\/strong><\/em>, the association was present at the forum of associations of Aussonne.<\/p>

End of March 2020<\/span><\/em>, the Minister of Security of the province of Salta kept the family informed of the future resumption of the research, the latter has not yet taken place.<\/span><\/p>

March 7th and 8th 2020<\/span><\/em>, the fair of south-east Toulouse was held in Lab\u00e8ge Diagora. The association held a booth to collect memberships and donations, publicize our cause and especially continue to mobilize around Mathieu.<\/p>

February 22nd, 2020<\/span><\/em>, volunteer at FestiJam for two years Mathieu was active in this festival. The FestiJam organized a concert dedicated to Mathieu, a booth represented the association. It allowed to join the associaton and make donations.<\/p>

February 2020<\/span><\/em>, the Consul of France informs the family of the postponement of the Trial of the two brothers to a later unspecified date and for unknown reasons.<\/span><\/p>

January 31st, 2020<\/em>,<\/span>\u00a0With the help of Carrefour Market in Aussonne, where Mathieu had previously worked, a raffle was organised. The association was there all weekend.<\/span><\/p>

End of January 2020<\/span><\/em>, his parents are received at L'\u00c9lys\u00e9e by one of the advisers of the French President who assures them once again of the effective and priority attention and commitment of the French government regarding the file of their son. They will also be received at the Central Office for the Repression of Violence against Persons in order to resume all the investigations carried out and those to come, to evoke the inconsistencies and grey areas and their expectations.<\/span><\/p>

11 Janvier 2020<\/em>,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>a rugby match is held in honour of Mathieu in Blagnac where he was a player in his youth. A Blagnac\/ Lannemezan match took place at the Ernest-Argel\u00e8s stadium, the association was present via a stand. They received a part the profits of the game.<\/span><\/p>

Early December 2019<\/span><\/em>, Mathieu\u2019s parents are back in Argentina. Accompanied by their Argentinian lawyer, they will meet the Attorney General of the province, criminal prosecutors and the Director of the Department of Criminal Research.<\/p>

November 30th, 2019<\/span><\/em>, \u00e0 Aussonne au march\u00e9 de Noel.\u00a0 de Salta avec entre autres, le Consul de France et le Ministre de la S\u00e9curit\u00e9 de la province de Salta, qui ensemble, leur assureront de faire tout leur possible, et notamment de planifier des actions afin de pouvoir initier de nouvelles recherches. Le gouvernement fran\u00e7ais promet d’apporter les technologies n\u00e9cessaires pour mener \u00e0 bien ces travaux.<\/span><\/p>

12<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0November 2019<\/span><\/em>, the two criminal prosecutors ask the Judge of Guarantees to close the preliminary investigation and proceed with the trial of the two brothers as the perpetrators of Mathieu\u2019s murder. A report from their Molecular Biology Service established a genetic profile from a bracelet recovered from one of the brothers.<\/span><\/p>
